FAQ
Questions about Guardian Daily
Straight answers about what Guardian does today, what it does not do, and what stays under your control.
Can I try Guardian without an account?
Yes. The guest try includes three questions every seven days. Guest answers are not a trial of connected services or external actions.
Is a beta account free?
Yes. Free beta account access is available now through November 5, 2026. Creating an account lets you use signed-in features and save supported information to your account.
Does Guardian send emails, texts, or calendar events for me?
Not yet. Google Calendar shows “Setup required” (the remaining setup is on Guardian’s side). Gmail and Google Drive are “Coming soon.” Automatic text messaging is not available. Guardian may draft content for you to copy or open in your own email app, but it does not claim to send it.
What can Guardian remember?
Guardian saves a memory only with your approval. You can review and remove saved memories. Your question alone is not blanket permission to remember everything in it.
Can someone check in without an account?
Yes. A family administrator can create a private, revocable one-tap link for one person. That page shows only the person's name, three check-in choices, and an optional note field. Read the family check-in guide.
Will Guardian notify my family or call 911?
Guardian does not call 911. Family information appears inside Guardian for approved members. It does not claim an email or text was delivered unless a real delivery service confirms it. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Is Guardian medical, legal, or financial advice?
No. Guardian can help you understand information and prepare questions, but a qualified professional should make professional judgments with you.
How does Guardian measure time saved?
You record the outcome and approve the minutes. Guardian does not independently measure your life. Estimates remain visibly separate from user-approved time.
