What Guardian Daily holds, and what it sends

This describes how the app actually behaves: what it stores, what it sends, and how to take it back.

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Who is responsible

Guardian Daily is operated by Guardian Enterprise LLC, a North Dakota limited liability company, 8030 59th Street South, Horace, ND 58047, which is responsible for the data described here. Privacy questions and requests go to support@guardiandaily.ai or the contact page, and a person reads them.

What is stored, and where

  • Your account. Your email address and sign-in details are held by the app's hosted backend so you can sign back in.
  • Your private Guardian. Priorities, reminders, approved memories, conversation history, preferences and plan drafts can be saved to your account. Access rules are enforced by the backend rather than trusting the browser alone.
  • Files you attach to a plan. Stored privately under your account. They are opened through short-lived links (about a minute) that are created only for you or for someone you have explicitly shared that plan with.
  • Family information. Messages, notes, call requests, check-ins, shared events and care information belong to a family space. They are available only to approved members who have the required family access.
  • This browser. Your sign-in session is kept in the browser, so anyone with your unlocked device can open the app as you.

Information Guardian uses only on your device

Some display choices and unfinished setup choices can be kept in this browser. Guardian also detects the browser's time zone so reminders and chat confirmations can use local time. It does not ask for a separate time-zone answer. Clearing browser storage may remove device-only choices, but it does not delete information already saved to your account.

What leaves the app when you ask Guardian a question

When you ask Guardian something, your question and the context needed to answer it can be sent to Guardian's reasoning service. That context can include your stated intention, priorities, memories you approved, reminders and recent conversation. Sign-in credentials are not included. Family messages, attached files and another person's private information are not added merely because they exist in Guardian.

Older memories

Why. Saved facts can go out of date. To avoid acting on old information, Guardian may suggest that an older memory needs a quick check. It uses only memories you saved, collects nothing new, shares nothing and builds no profile or score about you.

Your choice. Guardian keeps using that memory until you decide: tap "Keep — still true" to keep it, "Stop using until I check" to pause it, or edit it to correct it. Guardian never changes, deletes or shares memories this way, and you can undo your choice anytime. Your other memory controls stay the same: edit, pin, don't use, or delete.

Never included. Pinned memories, memories marked sensitive, memories you told Guardian not to use, corrected memories, and anything belonging to or shared by another person.

Records and how long we keep them. Before each suggestion, Guardian saves a short record of the decision and when it happened. It contains no memory text or personal details. These records are currently kept as a safety history; a set retention period has not been decided yet, and we will update this page when it is.

Who it's on for. During beta, these checks run only on Guardian's own internal test accounts. They will not be turned on for members without updating this page.

The assistant does not receive your password or sign-in token. It proposes; you decide. Guardian's family features can carry messages, call requests and check-ins between approved family members. A check-in can include location only when the person chooses to share it for that check-in and confirms the request.

Services that process information

Guardian runs on Lovable Cloud, a hosted account and data service, which stores your account and the information you save and signs you back in. Guardian questions are answered by a reasoning service reached through that platform; the specific model behind an answer is not shown to you, and Guardian does not claim a storage region, a training policy or a backup horizon it has not verified. If you later choose to connect an outside service, its own terms and privacy practices also apply to information sent through that connection. A connection must be shown as connected before Guardian treats it as available.

What Guardian does not do with personal information

  • Guardian does not sell personal information.
  • Guardian does not use family information to create public profiles or public scores.
  • Guardian does not infer a person's worth from employability, productivity or economic value.
  • Guardian does not take background location; location sharing is opt-in at the moment of use.

Sharing, and its limits

A plan you share is visible to the named people you chose, with view or edit access, until you revoke it. Revoking works forward only: it stops further access and stops new file links being issued, and a link that was already issued stays usable until its own expiry time. It cannot un-see or delete anything someone already read, downloaded or saved on their own device. Removing someone from your family space stops their access to that space from then on, with the same limit.

Taking your data out, or deleting it

Settings → Your data exports a copy of your own Guardian data as a file. The export contains your data only: no other person's information, no passwords, no keys, no access tokens.

The personal-data control clears the categories named on that screen and tells you if any part could not be removed. Account deletion is a separate, permanent action. Information already shared with another family member cannot be unseen, and records another person owns are not silently deleted from their account. If the app cannot complete the full request, contact us and a person will handle it.

How long information is kept

Account information remains while the account is active unless you delete the relevant item or close the account. Shared family records can remain for the other approved members who are entitled to keep them. Guardian does not promise that deleting a live record removes it instantly from every backup. Contact us for the scope and status of a deletion request.

Before you have an account, anything Guardian worked out for you stays on the device you were using and is not stored against a person. It only becomes part of an account if you choose “Bring this into my account”, and it can be cleared by using the app’s clear option or the browser’s own site-data controls.

Emergency features

The check-in feature sends a message to your own approved family members inside this app. It is not an emergency service, it does not contact police, ambulance or any third party, and it must never be relied on in a crisis. Call your local emergency number.
